Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and BEECLAT (“BEECLAT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the BEECLAT website, hive, matching tools, payments, messages, mock interviews, CV reviews, preparation modules, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account, checking a box to accept these Terms, clicking continue, paying for a product, booking a session, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. The Service is not offered to children.

BEECLAT is an online marketplace and practice platform. We help candidates prepare for hiring interviews by offering subscriptions, individual mock interviews, CV reviews, preparation modules, and introductions to independent interview advisors (“Advisors”).

BEECLAT is a venue. We do not ourselves conduct your job interviews, hire you, place you with an employer, or employ Advisors as our employees for session work. Advisors are independent professionals. You contract with BEECLAT for platform access and, as applicable, with an Advisor for a live session facilitated through the Service.

• BEECLAT is not an employer of candidates.
• BEECLAT is not an employment agency, personnel service, staffing firm, or recruiter, and is not licensed as such.
• BEECLAT intelligence is an optional automated aid inside the Service. It is not BEECLAT speaking, not an Advisor, and not professional advice.
• No agency, partnership, joint venture, or franchise is created between you and BEECLAT, or between BEECLAT and any Advisor, by these Terms.
• Employer names, loops, and examples on the Service are for practice context only. BEECLAT is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any employer mentioned.

Nothing on the Service is a promise of a job, an interview at a named company, a score, an offer, a promotion, or any hiring outcome. Results depend on your preparation, the employer’s process, and facts outside our control.

Advisors set their availability, professional judgment, and session style. BEECLAT may vet applications, display profiles, match candidates, process payments, and set platform rules, but we do not supervise the live interview the way an employer supervises an employee.

Advisor pay for mocks is governed by Section 9 (Booking, cancellation, attendance, and Advisor pay). For a live mock that both parties joined, the session fee is earned only when the Advisor’s written after-action report passes BEECLAT quality review and is released to the candidate. Closing the meeting room does not, by itself, create a payable session. A session is also payable if the candidate cancelled a confirmed mock within two hours of start, or if the candidate did not join within seven minutes of the scheduled time of the mock interview. An Advisor who cancels or does not join within seven minutes of start is not paid for that booking. Advisor pay weeks run Monday through Sunday, Central Time (Dallas). Amounts earned in a pay week are paid the following Friday.

Profile badges, reviews, response times, and matching suggestions are informational. They are not a certification, guarantee, or warranty of an Advisor’s skill, license, background, or fit for your situation. You are responsible for deciding whether to book.

You agree not to treat any Advisor as BEECLAT’s employee, and not to solicit an Advisor to take paid work off-platform in order to evade fees. Circumventing the Service to avoid payment is a material breach.

To apply as an Advisor you must upload a clear photo or scan of a current U.S. driver’s license or state ID. Beesters review that file with your application. It is not placed on your public profile, is not shown to candidates, and is not sent to BEECLAT intelligence. See the Privacy Notice section Government identification for Advisors.

To apply as an Advisor you must also record a short introduction video in the application studio and answer the questions on the screen. You may record up to three times. The third recording locks and is the one we review. Beesters watch it only to decide the application. It is not public and is not sent to BEECLAT intelligence. See the Privacy Notice section Introduction video.

You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe it was misused.

Candidate accounts and advisor accounts are separate doors. Do not use a staff, advisor, or candidate login for a role it was not issued for.

We may assign a candidate number (for example, BC-100040) for support and billing. That number is an internal identifier, not a credential, license, or employment ID.

We may refuse, suspend, or close an account if we reasonably believe these Terms were violated, a payment failed, a chargeback was filed in bad faith, or continued access would harm candidates, Advisors, or BEECLAT.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, record in secret where consent is required, or discriminate against another user.
• Share another person’s confidential hiring materials, exam banks, or employer secrets.
• Upload malware, scrape the Service, reverse engineer the platform except as the law allows, or overload our systems.
• Misrepresent your identity, role, employer affiliation, or credentials.
• Use the Service if you are a competitor scraping pricing, profiles, or matching logic.
• Post or upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or that contains a home street address or personal phone number in a CV or profile.

Live mocks are practice. They are not the employer’s actual interview. Do not treat session questions as leaked real loops, and do not redistribute session recordings or written feedback without the other party’s consent and ours.

You retain ownership of CVs, profiles, LinkedIn exports, messages, and other materials you submit (“User Content”). You grant BEECLAT a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, and use User Content as needed to operate the Service — including matching, session prep, billing, quality review, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

You represent that you have the right to submit User Content and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. Do not upload a CV or file that includes a home street address or personal telephone number. Redact that information first. We may reject or delete files that appear to contain unnecessary sensitive data.

LinkedIn imports and similar uploads are optional. You are responsible for the accuracy of imported data and for complying with LinkedIn’s and any third party’s terms when you export or print a profile.

Feedback, reviews, and suggestions you send us may be used by BEECLAT without restriction or compensation.

A typical live mock is a short, hiring-style conversation followed by written notes. Duration and inclusions are described at checkout, on the product page, and in Sections 8 and 9.

Deluxe includes one mock-interview credit per paid month. Premium includes two. Basic is a paid subscription and does not include monthly mock credits. Unused mock credits roll over from month to month and expire ninety days after they are granted. Fifteen days before expiration we email you so you have two weeks to schedule. Additional mocks after included credits are billed at the member rate shown at checkout while Deluxe or Premium remains active.

Sessions may be logged, and portions may be recorded or transcribed, for feedback, quality, safety, dispute review, and product improvement. By booking or joining a session you consent to that processing as described in the Privacy Notice. Recordings are made available to the candidate and to BEECLAT staff for quality review. Advisors cannot play session recordings.

Written feedback is an Advisor’s professional opinion for practice. It is not a hiring decision, a legal opinion, or a guarantee of how a real interviewer would score you.

BEECLAT publishes these turnaround targets as part of the product: (a) written mock-interview feedback is released to the candidate within twelve to twenty-four (12–24) hours after the live mock ends; (b) a CV review submitted through the hive is returned within forty-eight (48) hours of a complete submission. We staff the Beester desk to meet them. They are not a promise of a job, an interview, or a hiring score. If a target is missed because materials were incomplete, the other party did not finish their part, the platform was unavailable, or a force majeure event occurred, we still complete the work as soon as we reasonably can. A missed target does not, by itself, create a refund except where Texas or other law requires otherwise, or where we cancel the service and cannot complete it.

The Beester desk already supports this work. Quality review of a mock report and the written CV review are staffed functions, not a hope. Checking out for a subscription, a mock, or a CV review is acceptance of these targets as described here and on How it works.

This Section is a condition of using a mock credit, requesting a time, confirming a mock, joining a meeting room, or cancelling a booking. The same rules are displayed when you schedule and when an Advisor receives a mock invitation, and are included in those emails. If on-screen copy and these Terms differ, these Terms control, except that a more specific notice shown at the moment of a particular booking may apply to that booking.

A reserved mock is a thirty (30) minute block. The meeting room opens five (5) minutes before the scheduled start. The live conversation is twenty (20) minutes. Ten (10) minutes after the live conversation are reserved for the Advisor to write the feedback report. Written feedback is released to the candidate within twelve to twenty-four (12–24) hours after the live mock ends, as published in Section 8. The twenty-minute live timer starts only when both the candidate and the Advisor have joined the room, at or after the scheduled start — not when the meeting room first opens. The room closes automatically when that timer reaches zero. Times in this Section are measured from the scheduled start stored for the booking, using BEECLAT’s server clock.

When a mock is confirmed, BEECLAT emails the candidate and the Advisor a calendar invitation file. Each person opens that file and saves it on their own calendar. BEECLAT does not connect to Google, Outlook, Apple, or any other calendar. If a mock is cancelled, the cancellation email asks both people to delete that saved event themselves. Missing a mock because the invitation was not saved is still an Advisor no-show under this Section when the Advisor does not join.

A mock is “confirmed” when the Advisor has accepted the invitation. Until then it is a request only. Cancelling a request that has not been accepted returns the mock credit to the same entitlement with its original expiration date, and the Advisor is not paid.

Plain-language summary for candidates:

• Cancel a confirmed mock more than 2 hours before start and your credit is returned with its original expiry.
• A confirmed mock cannot be cancelled inside 2 hours of start. If you need a different time, cancel more than 2 hours before start and send a new request to the same advisor.
• If the advisor cancels, does not join within 7 minutes of start, or neither of you join, your credit is returned.
• If you do not join within 7 minutes of the scheduled time of the mock interview, the credit is used and the advisor is paid.
• The 20-minute timer starts only when both of you are connected, at or after the scheduled start — not when the room first opens.
• If BEECLAT later finds a platform technical issue kept you from joining, your credit is returned and we will help you book another session. We apologize when this happens.
• Written feedback is sent after the advisor’s report passes quality review.

Plain-language summary for Advisors (included in every mock invitation email):

A confirmed mock cannot be cancelled by the candidate inside 2 hours of start. If they cancel earlier, the credit is returned and this session is not paid.

If you cancel, or you do not join within 7 minutes of start, the candidate’s credit is returned and this session is not paid.

If the candidate does not join within 7 minutes of the scheduled time of the mock interview, you are paid.

A live mock that both of you joined is paid only after your written interview notes pass quality review and are delivered to the candidate — not when the room closes.

Your pay week runs Monday through Sunday, Central Time (Dallas). BEECLAT pays that week the following Friday.

If BEECLAT later finds a platform technical issue kept the candidate from joining, this session is not paid. We are sorry when that happens — these things do occur — and we will kindly ask you to accept a reschedule.

The 20-minute timer starts only when both of you are connected, at or after the scheduled start.

The following detailed rules control if a summary differs. A confirmed mock cannot be cancelled by the candidate within two (2) hours of start. Candidate cancellation more than two (2) hours before start returns the mock credit; the Advisor is not paid. Advisor cancellation or Advisor no-show (not joined within seven minutes of start) returns the candidate’s credit and the Advisor is not paid. If neither party joins within seven minutes, the credit is returned and the Advisor is not paid. If the candidate has not joined within seven minutes of the scheduled time of the mock interview, the credit is consumed and the Advisor is paid. A completed live mock is payable only after the written report passes quality review and is released to the candidate. Advisor pay weeks run Monday through Sunday, Central Time (Dallas), and are paid the following Friday. If BEECLAT finds a platform technical issue prevented the candidate from joining, the Advisor is not paid for that booking, the candidate’s credit is restored, and BEECLAT will kindly ask the Advisor to accept a reschedule. These events are uncommon; we apologize when they occur. Using a mock credit, confirming a mock, or joining a room is acceptance of this Section.

Advisor pay is sent by ACH to the bank account on the advisor file. An Advisor may replace that account from Account on the advisor desk. Before the new account is saved, BEECLAT emails a one-time security code to the email on the account. The change is not applied until that code is entered. Beesters then see the new account on the advisor file, and a record of when it changed. The pay file for a week uses the account on file when that week is submitted. We do not send bank numbers to BEECLAT intelligence or to xAI.

BEECLAT intelligence is the name we use on the website for optional automated tools. BEECLAT intelligence partners with xAI. Those tools are powered by Grok, xAI’s model. They include Advanced Analysis, advisor matching, reading a LinkedIn PDF, headshot polish, CV draft notes, and a quality check on a mock report. Grok is a third-party model. xAI is not a party to these Terms, is not your advisor, does not employ Advisors, and does not operate the Service. xAI’s own terms may also apply to its processing. BEECLAT does not control how Grok is trained, updated, or hosted.

Output from BEECLAT intelligence is produced by a statistical model. It can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased, offensive, discriminatory, fabricated, or misleading. It can misstate your experience, invent a detail, omit a fact, or suggest something that does not fit you. That is a limitation of the model. It is not a statement of fact by BEECLAT, not BEECLAT’s opinion, and not the opinion of any officer, Beester, or Advisor. You must read every output before you rely on it. You will not treat it as legal, academic, medical, financial, immigration, tax, or licensed career-counseling advice, or as a promise.

BEECLAT intelligence is not a hiring decision, not an employer score, not a grade that an employer will see, and not a promise of a job, interview, callback, offer, visa, admission, or promotion. Matching is a convenience, not a certified assessment of you or an Advisor. You may ignore any suggestion and choose another Advisor where the Service allows it. A headshot polish keeps your face and changes lighting or background only; it is not a new identity and not a guarantee an employer will accept the photo. A CV draft and a mock-report check are aids. A Beester, not the model, releases the version a candidate is meant to rely on where the Service says a human finishes the work.

To the fullest extent the law allows, BEECLAT and its officers, directors, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for any act, omission, error, hallucination, bias, delay, outage, misbehavior, or misrepresentation of Grok, xAI, or any other model, including output that is inaccurate, harmful, offensive, discriminatory, infringing, or unfit for your purpose. We do not warrant that any BEECLAT intelligence output is accurate, complete, current, non-infringing, safe, or fit for a particular purpose. If a result is unsatisfactory, disregard it. Where the Service allows, a Beester can finish the task by hand. Disregarding the output, or using that human path where it is offered, is your sole remedy for the content of a model output. This limit does not waive liability that Texas law does not allow us to waive.

You decide what, if anything, to paste, upload, or use. Do not paste secrets, passwords, health diagnoses, government ID numbers, payment numbers, or another person’s private information into an answer box or an upload. You represent that you have the right to submit what you submit. You are responsible for decisions you make because of a model output, including what you put on a CV, say in an interview, or send to an employer. BEECLAT does not adopt that output as its own statement and does not use it to make a legally binding decision about you.

Advanced Analysis is optional practice feedback inside Advanced modules. The coach voice is a recording. The model does not speak to you live.

Automated tools are limited. Unused uses do not roll over, and a failed run that produces no result does not count. These limits are a condition of the Service:

• Each Advanced slide includes two Advanced Analysis reviews per calendar month. A third try on that same slide waits until the next billing period.
• Find my 3 advisors includes two BEECLAT intelligence matches per calendar month. After that, search the hive yourself until the next billing period.
• Registration includes one BEECLAT intelligence read of a LinkedIn PDF. Later uploads are saved, but BEECLAT intelligence does not read them again.
• Each registration includes three headshot polishes, including any photo you change later. After three, upload the photo as-is.
• Each CV review may use the BEECLAT intelligence tool three times in total, for the first notes, a rewritten CV, or a redo. After three, a Beester finishes the review by hand.
• Each mock report may be checked automatically three times. After that, a Beester reviews it.

When a limit is reached, the rest of the Service stays available: you can keep practicing, search Advisors yourself, upload a photo as-is, and a Beester can finish a CV review or mock report by hand. Trying to bypass a limit is a misuse of the Service.

Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars and may change for future periods. Checking out authorizes BEECLAT (and our payment processor, Stripe) to charge the selected product, including recurring subscription renewals, automatically each month until you cancel.

Candidates who register with a school email address ending in .edu (students and faculty) automatically receive a 10% discount on any plan or individual service at checkout. The discount is tied to the email used at registration.

Subscriptions renew at the end of each billing period. Stripe stores the payment method and charges it on the renewal date. When the selected plan includes mock credits, BEECLAT grants that month’s included credits (Deluxe one, Premium two). Basic renews as a paid plan and does not receive mock credits. Plan changes take effect at period end. There is no proration unless we expressly offer it. You keep the plan you already paid for until that date.

Cancel auto-renewal from your hive subscription page before the renewal date. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not refund the current period.

Individual services (for example a mock interview or CV review) are charged when you check out. Member prices apply only while a qualifying paid Deluxe or Premium period is active.

A digital gift certificate may be bought for one individual mock interview, one individual CV review, or both services together. Both services share one single-use code. It is delivered by email. It expires one year after the purchase date, whether or not it has been redeemed, and it cannot be exchanged for cash, a plan, or a different service. The price appears on the buyer’s receipt only. After the expiry date the code is void and any unused credit tied to it is closed.

Payments are processed by Stripe or, in limited preview or test environments, a test-card flow. BEECLAT does not store full card numbers. The processor’s terms also apply to the charge.

• Fees for time already made available, sessions already held, or digital modules already unlocked are non-refundable except where Texas or other law requires otherwise, or where we cancel and cannot rebook you.
• A chargeback, payment dispute, or stolen-card claim may result in suspension until resolved. You agree to contact us first so we can help.
• Taxes may be added where required.

The Service, hive design, bee mark, wordmark, copy, software, matching logic, modules, and compilation of Advisor profiles are owned by BEECLAT or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own interview preparation (if you are a candidate) or to coach through the platform (if you are an Advisor in good standing).

You may not copy, resell, frame, or white-label the Service. Employer names used as examples remain those employers’ trademarks.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEECLAT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, that matching will be accurate, that an Advisor will be available at a particular time, or that practice will produce a job offer. You use third-party links, video tools, and payment rails at your own risk.

BEECLAT intelligence is powered by Grok from xAI, a third party. We do not warrant Grok’s output. Model output can be wrong or unsuitable. It is not professional advice and not a promise of any hiring result. Sections 10, 14, and 15 control.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers. In those places, the disclaimer applies to the fullest extent allowed.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEECLAT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST OFFERS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO BEECLAT FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100).

These limits are a fundamental part of the bargain and apply to any theory of liability. They do not limit liability that cannot be limited under Texas law, including liability for our own willful misconduct where such a waiver is forbidden.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BEECLAT and its officers, contractors, and Advisors (as applicable) from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of: (a) your User Content; (b) your misuse of the Service; (c) your sessions or communications with other users; (d) your breach of these Terms; (e) your violation of law or third-party rights; or (f) your reliance on BEECLAT intelligence or Grok output, or content you chose to submit to those tools. We may assume exclusive defense at your expense.

These Terms continue while you use the Service. You may stop using the Service and close your account. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach, risk, unpaid invoices, or if we discontinue the Service.

Sections that by their nature should survive — including fees owed, licenses you granted, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms — survive termination. Content may remain in backups for a limited period as described in the Privacy Notice.

If a dispute arises, you agree to contact legal@beeclat.com first and try to resolve it informally for 30 days.

Except for small-claims matters you bring as an individual, and except for claims for injunctive relief regarding intellectual property or unauthorized access, any remaining dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this clause. The seat of arbitration is Dallas, Texas, and hearings may be remote.

YOU AND BEECLAT WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Claims must be brought only in your or our individual capacity.

You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by writing to legal@beeclat.com with your name, account email, and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect the rest of these Terms.

If this arbitration clause is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim must be brought exclusively in state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to that venue.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement.

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be posted on the Service or sent to the email on your account. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any auto-renewal.

These Terms and the Privacy Notice are the entire agreement between you and BEECLAT for the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or sale. Notices to you may be sent to your account email. Notices to us should go to legal@beeclat.com.

BEECLAT Gives is a company philanthropy program. Visitors, candidates, and advisors may make voluntary gifts through the Service. Gifts are used exclusively to buy food for children in the campaign country shown on the Give page for that collection period. BEECLAT collects year-round and delivers on the date set for that season, beginning Summer 2027.

BEECLAT pays travel, lodging, and staff time from company funds. Those costs are not taken from gifts. Card-network processing fees are either added on top of your gift (if you choose to cover them) or deducted from the amount you pay (if you do not). The checkout page shows that breakdown before you pay. The live yearly total on the Gives page counts only paid gifts, using the food share after fees, and is not seeded with a made-up number.

Unless BEECLAT later registers as a charity and tells you so in writing, a gift through BEECLAT Gives is not a tax-deductible charitable contribution under U.S. law. You will receive a branded receipt by email. After the summer campaign we intend to publish proof — photos, testimony the families allow us to share, and a simple accounting — on the website, social accounts, and by email to donors. Campaign photos of children will only be used with permission.

Gifts are voluntary, not a condition of using the Service, booking a session, or remaining an advisor. We may refuse, refund, or return a gift if we reasonably believe it is fraudulent, unlawful, or inconsistent with the food-only purpose.
